Terms and Conditions
Once Deposit is cleared into Raw Echoes account. Both parties agree to Raw Echoes Terms & Conditions. A copy of these Terms & Conditions can be found below.
The parties referred to in these Terms and Conditions shall be as follows:
- a) Raw Echoes Ltd ”The Company’ – supplier of services)
- b) The Client & Acceptor of the said Services (The Contracting Party’)
In entering into an agreement with Raw Echoes for the supply of services, The Contracting Party and each and every Guest agree to be bound by all the conditioned exemptions and provision herein contained.
- Payment Terms
The contracting party agrees to pay a booking deposit of 50% of total invoice value at the time of booking and the remaining 50% balance approximately 1 week prior to the event. For bookings made within eight weeks of an event the total event fee will be due on confirmation of the booking.
Bank Transfer If you use Internet Banking/pay pal/credit card/debit card you can make a payment straight into our bank account. When paying online please ensure you include your surname and the date of your event as a reference. Please note we no longer accept Cheques
- Confirmation
The Company will only accept a booking upon receipt of written confirmation and once this is received a contract will be deemed to have been made. Until the booking deposit is paid and contract signed and returned, the Company shall be free to offer the date in question to other parties.
- Cancellation Update
If for any reason the Contracting Party cancels the booking. The deposit of total invoice value will be forfeited and only 50 % of deposit returned in special circumstance. If for any reason the Clients Contracting Party cancels the booking within two months prior to the event date, the Contracting Party shall be liable to pay the total price contract and all deposits will be kept by Raw Echoes Ltd. If an agreement is cancelled within 30 days prior to date of event. Total agreed booking fee Must be paid in Full before the Event Date. Legal action will be taken.
If client does not advice Raw Echoes within cancellation period full amount for performance is due and must be paid plus any late payment fees.
3.1 Cancellation by the Client is not permitted for any reason except circumstances covered by Force Majeure (see clause 4.) In the event that the Client’ cancels the booking due to a Force Majeure event, the Client hereby agrees to notify Raw Echoes immediately. The following fees shall be payable by the Client in the event of cancellation:
3.2 Cancellation by the Client within 24 hours of Confirmation will result in the loss of any deposit paid but will not carry a cancellation fee of £125
3.3 Process admin fee of £125 per date. ( if any dates were postponed )
3.4 Any Bank charges or accountant fees for delayed payments.
3.5 Bespoke Event Production Cancellation by the Client after 24 hours of Confirmation and up to 6 months for Peak wedding date will result in loss of the deposit.
3.6 Cancellation by Raw Echoes Ltd
In the very unlikely event that Raw Echoes cancels the booking, Raw Echoes will inform the Client of the cancellation as soon as possible and shall make all reasonable attempts to find a suitable replacement artist of similar standard and style at no extra cost to the Client. Should a suitable replacement not be found, Raw Echoes agrees to refund the Client the deposit plus any other part of the Booking Fee already paid in advance. There will be no refund given to the Client against the booking deposit already paid, if a replacement artist of similar value can be arranged by Raw Echoes DJ and agreed by the Client. However, should a replacement artist charge a much lower fee, the Client will be refunded a proportionate amount of the Booking Fee if you have made a payment above the deposit fee and the replacement artist will be due its usual fee. Should the replacement artist charge a higher fee, the Raw Echoes will be liable for any extra charge that may be incurred. Wherever possible, the Client and the replacement artist will be put in contact with each other to agree this in advance.
4. Force Majeure | Covid 19
In cases of Force Majeure – Snowed in Pandemic/Covid19 Government restrictions type situation which are not attributable to any act or failure to take preventive action by the Client, then the Client may cancel this booking without penalty other than loss of deposit. A small charge will be made for any time spent on the booking, i.e. moved dates, reserve equipment, arranging staff transport, that the client may have requested before cancelling event.
5Conduct
It is the Client’s responsibility and Venue to ensure that all guests conduct themselves in a proper & safe manner at all times. The Client and Venue can be held accountable for all guests and their actions.
The Client will provide adequate supervision of its guests, including children, at the venue, and will be liable for any loss of or damage to the DJ’s equipment or personnel belongings, caused by guests attending the function.
No violent, aggressive or abusive behaviour from anyone under any circumstances will be tolerated, and The DJ reserves the right to terminate the disco at any time if any personal safety is under threat. The DJ does not take responsibility for ejecting any unwanted persons from any venue. The Client will be advised of any problems arising in this respect with any guests.
In the event of minors function there must be the legal ratio of responsible persons to minors.
The DJ will responsible attitude at all times, during his attendance to the venue, it will set up and run as requested by The Client unless the legal requirement is different which will be pointed out and stated.
6 Change of Event Date
Once the booking is confirmed and Event Booking Form signed any change of contracted event date instigated by the client contracting party up to 30 days prior to the event date, will incur an administration fee of 20% of the total contracted event fee. The contracted event date cannot be changed within 30 days of the event date.
7 Late Payment
If payment is not made within the terms set out above on the day of performance, Raw Echoes Ltd reserve the right to charge interest at 20% or a £150 late payment fee whatever is Lower on overdue fees per day for 14 days and then be passed on to third party account dept for collection. Whom will charge additional fee of 5% above the base exchange rate at Bank of England and Debt collection fee and admin cost etc.
8 Copyright
All rights to any images and video taken by or on behalf of supplier for the client are retained by Raw Echoes. Where a CD/usb of high resolution images or video is included as part of the package, the supplier gives permission to the Client to use the images freely, however, ownership of the images remains with the supplier.
9 Display Marketing
The Client hereby give permission for Raw Echoes to display any images and video included in this contract in Raw Echoes marketing material, including case studies, literature, exhibitions, advertising, competitions, and magazines and on websites. No use of any of the images will be used for other commercial reasons, except with written permission from the Client.
10 Liability for Damage or Loss
The Client will be liable for any theft or liability to pay in full for any damage or loss to boats, vehicles, waterproof clothing, or other equipment supplied by the Company, arising out of an act or omission of the Client Party or Guests. The Client Party and each Guest agree to limit any claims against the Company to the risks and amounts insured against by the Company and agree to observe the terms and conditions thereof. A synopsis of the insurance policy is available to all Contracting Parties and Guests. The Company and its Servants or Agents accept no responsibility in respect of any damage whatsoever, to any property of the Contracting Party or Guests except where such damage is caused by the negligence of the Company, its Servants or Agents.(We advise to tell Guests Not go on the Stage under the influence of alcohol or drugs. To safeguard the event and safety of fellow guest and surroundings)
11 Set up and Loading into booked suites.
There will be adequate set up time available usually 120 minutes before the start time of the event and 180 minutes after the event to break the set down. The Client should indicate what access is available, lifts, ramps Car parking etc.
If any Stairs are to be used or lift out of order we must be notified in advance to arrange extra crew help. The client will be charged for this.
The Client must ensure that there is adequate parking for The DJ on the night for off-loading and loading of the equipment, in a safe and secure manner with Lighting. Should there be items stolen during this procedure it is the responsibility of Venue & The Client.
Raw Echoes will oblige to any reasonable in relation to Stage Setting and Music Performance and Volume Levels from the Booking Family and the Venue via the Client.
12 Changes on the day
Where possible, changes to the booking which are unavoidable on the day of the event should first be discussed and agreed with Raw Echoes. Should this not be possible, changes must be agreed between the Client and the DJ prior to the performance? Any changes agreed will be subject to these Terms and Conditions. Changes negotiated between the Client and the DJ on the day of the event and any extra fees agreed with the Client must be paid by the Client along with the remaining balance of the Booking Fee.
11.1 Any extra time performed by DJ and team will result in a £120 per half hour charge. This must be paid in cash there and then by the Client before extension.
11.2 If the DJ is required to start earlier than booked and the Client refuses to pay an extra time charge, the DJ shall only perform for the amount of time booked (normally 3 hours on site for Dance floor Music performance)
13 DJ equipment Update – Covid Use
It is agreed by the Client that the equipment and instruments of the DJ are not available for use by other performers or persons except by specific permission of the DJ or Raw Echoes concerned. Each microphone will be sanitised before for guest to use.
14 Power and 3 Phase Electrics
The DJ will be responsible for producing certificates of Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and Portable Appliance Testing (P.A.T).
The service providers not just us, will require adequate access to fully earthed Main power supply or 3 phase mains for Bigger productions and weddings. Ring Mains is Domestic low Amp Power and is Not Commercial Venue. Raw Echoes will not be held responsible for Power Cuts.( if this does occur we may have to turn off some effects/lights to draw less power and turn down the down due to restriction of the venue fused power supply.)Raw echoes will advise if we need to hire in a generator or a 3 phase Distributor if venue does not supply one. Client to pay for the Hire Charges.

15 Withdrawal of Service at Event
In Extreme case of verbal and/or physical violence towards the DJ or any person/person’s connected with Raw Echoes or third party supplier, the Client may be asked to have this/these people removed from the venue. If an agreement regarding this cannot be resolved then the services booked may be stopped and the Client will be liable for the remainder of any Booking Fee due plus any other costs or expenses incurred by Raw Echoes or the DJ as a result.
14.1 In the case of damage being caused to any equipment (either belonging to contracted to or leased to the service providers) by the Client or any person/Guest’s at the wedding or even the service will be stopped or delayed, the client will also be fully liable to reimburse Raw Echoes for any damage to equipment (either belonging to contracted to or leased to service provider or DJ) within 7 days of the event date.
16 Refreshments
As The DJ and service provider team works very unsociable hours we ask if non-alcoholic drinks/water and light snacks/refreshments could be provided. Please do not offer alcoholic drinks whilst our staff are on the venues premises. If not possible, the DJ will arrange from outside/order for a convenient time working within HSE work time Regulations. (every 4.5 hours = 30 minutes break)
17. Any additions or alterations of the terms and conditions of this agreement shall be null and void unless agreed upon in writing by the parties.
18. By Paying in Confirmation Deposit you are accepting the above terms and conditions of Raw Echoes Ltd service providers, the Client Contracting Party accepts the booking terms and conditions of all Suppliers and Sub Contractors to The Company. In so much The Contracting Party agrees to be bound by all terms above.
